Velocity Solutions
How We Got Here
Velocity Solutions didn’t need a new brand. They had a strong identity and a good reputation. What they needed was for their marketing materials to reflect that. The website was showing its age, the business cards felt generic, and the trade show setup hadn’t been updated in years.
We spent the first couple of weeks just talking to their team. Sales reps, account managers, the folks running their booth at conferences. We wanted to understand what was actually working, what wasn’t, and where the biggest gaps lived.
The Website
The existing site worked, but it wasn’t doing Velocity justice. We redesigned and rebuilt velocitysolutions.ca with a modern look that actually represents the company as it is now. Faster, cleaner, and laid out to move visitors toward getting in touch.
We also built it so their internal team could update content without calling us every time, which was a big priority for them.
Print and Trade Show
Business cards were straightforward but important. We went with a design that’s immediately recognizable and sturdy enough to survive the bottom of a laptop bag.
For trade shows, we produced a full suite of banners and retractable stand-ups that could be mixed and matched depending on the event. The goal was consistency without looking like they brought the exact same setup every time. Different configurations for different booth sizes, but everything still reads as undeniably Velocity.
Promotional Merchandise
We designed branded merchandise that people would actually want to keep. Not the kind of stuff that ends up in a junk drawer. Everything ties back to the same visual language running through the rest of their materials.
Contest Campaigns
One of the more interesting parts of this project was building out a themed marketing system for contests. Velocity runs promotions throughout the year to engage their audience, and they needed each campaign to feel fresh while still being on-brand. We set up a flexible template system with guidelines that let their marketing team spin up new contest materials quickly without starting from zero every time.
Where Things Stand
Since the refresh went live, Velocity has seen a noticeable uptick in qualified leads through their website and stronger engagement at trade shows. The feedback from their own team has been just as positive. When your sales reps are genuinely excited to hand someone a business card, you know the materials are doing their job.
